For the 3rd month in a row we saw housing prices increasing on a monthly basis - up 1.1% - at least in the 20-metropolitan areas covered by the S&P/Case Shiller house price index and if we do not consider seasonal adjustments.

Data today showed that the US construction sector did in fact bounce back from a very rough February. Home constructions in March jumped 7.2% to an annual rate of 549,000, from an upwardly revised 512,000 in February.
