USD Commentary for the week of 06/25/2010

News over the weekend of China bringing to a close its USD peg to the yuan in place since the financial crisis in 2008, signs of weakness in the US economy and a dovish tone to the FOMC statement from the Fed conspired to lead the USD index down 0.5% for the week and the third straight week the index ended lower.
