Pound Weakens as CBI Sees ‘Sluggish’ U.K. Economic Recovery

The pound fell against the dollar and the euro after the Confederation of British Industry said the U.K.’s recovery will be “slow and sluggish,” giving the Bank of England more reason to keep interest rates on hold.
