Following out on threats of a scheduled missile launch late yesterday, North Korean officials went through with a ballistic missile test – the first such endeavor under newly imposed leader Kim Jung Un. The event was widely criticized by global officials as violating newly minted nuclear pacts but produced little in the way of any results.
