Gold futures moved down slightly today after the US dollar gained some momentum. Gold for December delivery fell 0.2% to $1,226 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX). The dollar index (DXY) gained about 0.13% after opening lower.
