Goldilocks Economy? US Posts Strong Retail Sales, Low Inflat

A goldilocks economy is one in which there is growth but it is not so hot that it causes inflation. Today’s data points to such a scenario at least for March. Retail sales rose a strong 1.6%, while the core CPI was unchanged from February.
