Germany Backtracks on European Rescue for Greece

The onus for resolving Greece’s financial crisis appeared to move closer to the International Monetary Fund on Thursday, as Berlin distanced itself from any bilateral or European support for the Greek government, The New York Times’s Matthew Saltmarsh reports.
