German Consumer Confidence at 3 Month High, But EUR/USD

German GFK consumer confidence rose much more than expected printing at 3.8 versus 3.4 projected. This was the highest level since October of 2009 and follows on the heels of much better sentiment readings from the ZEW and IFO business surveys.

The improvement in consumer confidence is a clear sign that German economy continues to strengthen in Q2
