Fed Won’t Allow Stagflation, Too Early to Talk Rate Hike

Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco President Janet Yellen said Tuesday the central bank won’t allow a reprise of the 1970s stagflation era. During that period, the economy was faced with a mix of high inflation and slow economic growth that was extremely painful to remedy.
