Dollar: A Little History While Waiting On China

It has been a relatively quiet day in the foreign exchange market with no major U.S. economic data released outside of the weekly jobless claims report. Equities recovered earlier losses to end the day in positive territory while the U.S. dollar traded higher against the Japanese Yen and lower against most other major currencies.
