The Canadian dollar (CAD/USD-I0.990.0070.72%) topped the 99-cent (U.S.) mark as oil prices (CL FT85.001.241.48%) rose and a stronger-than-expected economic report solidified expectations interest rates in Canada will climb before the United States moves its rate.
