NZ dollar closes higher

The New Zealand dollar pushed on higher Wednesday particularly against the Australian dollar. At close, the NZ dollar had risen to 71.22c from 70.90c at 8am, which was up from 70.44c at close Tuesday. It is near six-week highs.
