Asian Stocks Rise as Japan, U.S. Economies Improve

Japan’s Nikkei 225 Stock Average climbed 1.2 percent after the Cabinet Office said gross domestic product grew at an annualized 1.5 percent rate in the three months ended June 30, faster than the 0.4 percent reported last month.
