French Non-Farm Payrolls Fall 0.1% in Q3

Total employment in France contracted 0.1% in the third quarter of 2008, according to preliminary estimates from the National Institute for Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE) issued on Friday. Economists had forecast a 0.2% decline, which would have matched the fall in Q2.
