Carney urges emerging markets to follow Canada's lead

Emerging markets could learn from what Canada did in 1950 and allow their currencies to appreciate, in an effort to unwind massive trade imbalances and ensure "sustainable medium-term" growth for the global economy, Bank of Canada governor Mark Carney said Thursday.
